Hans' Hot Chocolate

Famed for its sweet history, Hans' Bar & Grill at 11 Cadogan Gardens, boasts of the most delicious hot chocolates in Chelsea. How do you make such a masterpieces? Ok, we'll let you in on the secret right here...

...oh, and it's not just one recipe, there are 5!

 

Milky Gingerbread

  • 15 milk chocolate buttons (3 table spoons full)
  • 3 tablespoons full of white chocolate buttons
  • 4 oz of full fat milk
  • 4 oz of double cream
  • 50 ml of gingerbread syrup

Topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon powder and crispy waffle crumbs

 

White Coconut

  • 6 tablespoons full of white chocolate buttons
  • 10 oz of coconut milk

Topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with toasted coconut flakes and white mini merengue

 

Caramel, Caramel, Caramel

  • 26 milk chocolate buttons
  • 10 oz of full fat milk
  • 5 oz of caramel sauce

Topped with whipped cream, caramel popcorn, pieces of fudge and caramel sauce

 

Dark Chocolate Brownie

  • 2 tablespoons of coco powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons of dark chocolate buttons
  • 10 oz of full fat milk

Topped with whipped cream, crumbled brownie pieces, dark chocolate sauce, dark chocolate shavings

 

Midnight Peppermint

  • 13 buttons (2 tablespoons full) of dark chocolate buttons
  • 10 oz of full fat milk
  • 30-50ml of peppermint syrup
